Colby (AKA Joey) recently joined my family as our second fur baby adopted from Danielle and Kevin at My Shiba, and we could not be happier with him! Although I was already familiar with the basics of the process from when my first Shiba, Kodie, came home a few years ago, I required more attention and assistance this time since Colby was flying home to us instead of taking the drive. Danielle helped with all my questions and all of the explanations I needed to make sure he got here safe, in addition to providing me with all the videos and photos of my new pup that I asked for. It is worth mentioning how smooth and surprisingly easy the entire process of getting Colby home was. Danielle made all flight arrangements and provided me with the details, in addition to the address where I would get to meet him, and the rest was history! As easy and pleasant as it all was, the best part of the experience was still seeing how great our new puppy was coming home and how intelligent he already was. From the moment we took him out of the travel crate, Colby showed an exceptional temperament and was extremely loving. He couldn't wait to give us kisses and cuddle on the drive home. Once we got home, and after spending time with him now it is apparent how fantastic he is going to be. He required almost NO leash training or housebreaking because he came to us understanding both concepts already! He is calm when we are calm and shows his loving, sweet side, and when we are ready to play and go for long walks with games of fetch he is always ready. His coat of fur is absolutely beautiful and he is already the most popular pup in our development (he gets endless attention and love from almost everyone that passes by on our walks!). Even better is that Colby has been more than loving with every dog, child, and adult that he has been introduced to, and shares just as much love with them as he does with his own family. Once I was ready to adopt another Shiba I knew I would go directly back to My Shiba for these exact reasons, as the experience was just as wonderful as my first from them. I can't thank you enough for taking such good care and putting so much effort into getting me my perfect puppy, we are beyond in love !!
